Hello, everyone. I'm having difficulty understanding the expressions '됨' and '된' while learning Korean, so I'm asking for help. These two expressions often attach to the end of words and I understand them to mean 'completed' or 'finished.' For example, when headphones are connected to a phone, a message appears saying '연결됨' (connected), and when an item is deleted in a memo app, it shows as '삭제된' (deleted).
I'm curious if my understanding is correct and what the difference is between '됨' and '된.' Could it be related to the presence or absence of a final consonant? I would greatly appreciate any explanations or experiences you could share regarding this. A clear answer would be a huge help for my Korean learning. Thank you!
