Hana Bank mobile app, foreigner verification issue?

Is anyone experiencing issues with foreigner verification on the new Hana Bank mobile app? I created my account and installed the app last October, but I heard that the old app will no longer be available starting in July. When I try to verify on the new app, no matter how clearly I take a photo of my passport, it doesn't get verified. My wife called to inquire, and she was told that the regulations for foreigners have changed. The fact that my passport photo shows 'not matching' is essentially a mechanism to prompt me to visit the immigration office to obtain new documents. I have a valid F6 visa, but I'm at a loss on how to respond to these procedural changes. If anyone has had a similar experience or knows any tips to resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate your advice. I would be especially grateful if someone from the Gangnam or Hongdae area has faced and resolved the same problem.
