How to naturally use "in general" or "in a word"?

I am looking for a natural way to use the expression '전반적으로' or '한 마디로' in Korean. I have been using the expression '전체적으로' so far, but it seems like it is not commonly used in Korea. For example, I want to say things like '전반적으로 우리는 이렇게 하지 않습니다.' or '전반적으로 커피를 더 좋아합니다.' And I also want to find appropriate expressions in sentences like '한 마디로, 저는 집중에 문제가 있습니다.' Is there a more natural expression or other useful words in these cases? I am realizing the importance of language use while living in Korea. I would appreciate your help!
