How to separate plastic packaging waste for recycling in Korea?

Hello! I recently moved to Korea and am currently living in a pension. I think I'm doing pretty well with separating the trash, but I'm not sure where to dispose of the plastic packaging from items I ordered on Coupang. In the pension's trash area, there are bins for general waste, food waste, cans, and plastic. In front of the general waste bin, there is also a place to put flammable trash bags. Additionally, there is a space designated for paper boxes, styrofoam, glass, etc. Should I just throw this plastic packaging into the general waste bin? Or should it go in the plastic bin? I heard that recycling methods can vary by region, so I'm wondering if anyone living in Gangnam or Hongdae has had a similar experience. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
