I am trying to get used to reading Korean books. However, I don't quite understand the following sentence: '그러다 무슨 생각인지 여봐란듯이 더 몸을 가까이 기울였다.' In this sentence, I can easily understand the part '**더 몸을 가까이 기울였다**,' but I am a bit confused about the part '**그러다 무슨 생각인지 여봐란듯이**.' The situation is that two people are having a heated discussion about business, and one person is pressing the other. How should I interpret this sentence? Is it trying to figure out what the other person is thinking? I would really appreciate your help.
