Can I take a vacation at a Korean academy?

Hello everyone. My family is planning to visit Korea in April, and I would like to take a day off on Monday. I have been working at an academy in Gangnam for 5 months now and have never been absent. However, I am curious if it is possible to take a vacation in this situation. The academy I work at is located in Gangnam, and I am not sure how vacation requests are handled when working at academies in Korea. Would it be a problem to request a vacation? Or is it completely possible? Are there any people who have had similar experiences or can give advice? I would like to hear your opinions on what to do.
