What should a foreigner do to find a studio apartment in Seoul?

I plan to move to Korea around the end of this year and will stay in Seoul for a year. I'm looking for a furnished studio apartment and I'm curious about how to find one. If I have family or relatives already living in Korea, can I find a place at a cheaper price through them? Or would it be better to come to Korea first and stay in an Airbnb, hotel, or at a relative's house temporarily while I search for a place myself? I would like to know how foreigners typically find housing for long-term stays. Also, I'm curious if there are any additional fees charged to foreigners. If you have had a similar experience or can offer any advice, I would greatly appreciate it!
