Which is better, Gongbaksi or Heogongsi? Please share your opinions!

Hello! It's been about a year since I came to Korea, and I've been writing a story set in a fictional Korean village. This village gives off a feeling of people living in 'blank spaces' without communicating with each other, and I'm wondering how to express this in Korean. I'm currently considering '공백시' and '허공시', both of which can be interpreted as meaning 'empty space'. Is there a more suitable expression between the two? Or perhaps a better name? I live in Hongdae, Seoul, and often get inspired by various things here. If anyone has similar experiences or ideas, I would be very grateful for your input! 😊
