Hello! It's been about 3 years since I came to Korea, and now I live in Itaewon. I have an F6 visa and live with my wife. We are expecting our first child this fall, so it seems like a big change in life is approaching. Currently, my wife has a good job with an annual income of about 100 million won, but there are no more opportunities for promotion at her workplace, which is a bit concerning.
I haven't had any career advancement so far, so now I feel like I need to find a stable job. Luckily, Moreland offers a program where I can obtain a teaching certificate and a master's degree in education at the same time, costing about 14.7 million won. I enjoy teaching, and with this certification, I think I could work at good schools like YBM Kisa or St. Paul's.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation? Would this career choice be valuable in the long run while living in Korea? Any advice would be appreciated!
