Can foreigners get a mortgage loan in Itaewon?

Hello! It's been about a year since I came to Korea, and I'm currently looking into finding a studio apartment in Itaewon. I considered Gangnam and Hongdae as well, but for now, Itaewon is my favorite. I've visited a few real estate agencies here because I want to live here, but it's really tough as they either reject me right away for being a foreigner or say the deposit is too expensive. I heard that foreigners can also get a lump-sum deposit loan, but I'm not sure if this information is correct. Can you recommend any good real estate agencies or apps in Itaewon or Gangnam? I've tried using the Zigbang app and visited about five real estate agencies, but they all say it's difficult once I show them my foreigner registration card... Does anyone have a similar experience?
