Share your experience teaching English in Korea in the 1990s!

I want to share my experience of teaching English in Korea from the mid to late 90s. I worked in Daegu, Incheon, and Seoul during the presidency of Kim Young-sam. It was a time when all foreigners were called 'American.' Reading on Reddit these days, I feel that Korea's English education environment has not changed much compared to back then. What do you think? Feel free to ask if you have any questions about the academy environment then and now! Additionally, at that time, the city names were spelled differently than they are now. Daegu was 'Taegu,' Gimpo was 'Gimpo,' Gwangju was 'Gwangju,' Daejeon was 'Daejeon,' and Busan was 'Busan.' Does anyone know about these changes? LOL
