Are there any foreigners in Korea who feel lonely?

As a foreigner residing in Korea, my friend from India has recently been feeling homesick. He misses the bustling and vibrant atmosphere of his hometown, as well as the large weddings and festivals celebrated with extended family. Recently, he attended a wedding of a Korean colleague, which felt very short and formal compared to those in India. Currently, he is living alone in Seoul, and while he has made some friends, he still feels lonely and disconnected. I have tried to introduce him to friends, but I also lack a large social network, so I am unsure how else to help. Are there any Indians living in Korea who have had similar experiences? I would appreciate any advice on how you overcame this situation.
