Is the relationship between Korea and Colombia really special?

Hello, I am a foreigner from Colombia. I have a question about the relationship between Korea and Colombia. I have heard on many social media platforms that Colombia has a special relationship with Korea because it was the only South American country to support Korea during the Korean War. There have also been stories about monuments or parks in Korea honoring Colombian soldiers. However, the Koreans I have met in Korea have never mentioned this, so I wonder if this has been exaggerated on social media. Do Koreans really know about Colombia's participation in the Korean War? Or do most Koreans not even know where Colombia is located? I am curious about your thoughts. Thank you!
