Is it possible for foreigners to work as librarians in Itaewon?

Hello! It's been a year since I came to Korea, and it looks like I'll be working as a librarian in Itaewon. During the interview, they explained that I would be a librarian, not a classroom teacher, and that I would meet with 20-25 students individually each day and only grade book reports. So, it seems like I won't be teaching a whole class. But the contract states that I will provide English conversation instruction to students at the language institute and perform the duties specified in Article 2 of the company regulations, which is a bit confusing. Have any of you heard of this position before? This will be my first time receiving an E2 visa, and the contract says that employment insurance is optional and can be waived by the employee. Is this common? Does anyone have a similar experience? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much.
