Hello! I am currently a working professional in my 50s, holding a degree in Law and Communication. I have a passion for Asian languages, particularly Korean and Japanese, and have been studying them on my own, but it has never been easy. Therefore, I have decided to enroll in a university program specializing in Asian languages.
However, I am worried. I am not sure if I can manage the academic burden of university while balancing my job, and I especially want to learn the language itself rather than history or literature. For those who have already gone through such a program, I am curious if it has helped improve your actual language skills.
I would appreciate the experiences or advice from those who majored in languages at a university in Korea. Thank you!
