Questions about elementary education in Korea

Hello, I am a second-generation Korean who was born and raised in Germany. I am currently working on a project comparing the education systems of Korea and Germany. Since my image of Korean education mainly comes from Korean dramas, I would like to know more about what it is actually like. I am curious about the roles that teachers play in supporting students in Korean elementary schools. How do teachers help children, and what can parents expect from teachers? Additionally, I would like to hear your thoughts on what you believe the main goals of Korean elementary schools are. I would really appreciate it if you could take some time to answer these questions.
