Would it be a good idea to create a new romanization system for Korean?

Hello! It's been a year since I came to Seoul, and I've been struggling a lot with learning Korean because of the Romanization system. I'm currently attending a Korean language school in Hongdae, but I find the Romanization system very difficult and confusing. Especially writing '어' as 'eo' feels awkward and doesn't match the pronunciation. This leads me to constantly confuse the sounds and struggle with pronunciation. Have any of you experienced a similar issue? I also don't understand why 'ㅝ' is written as 'wo'. It's confusing why it's different when writing 'eo'. It often leads to misunderstandings when talking to others. I've tried using the McCune-Reischauer system, which seems better to me. However, it's not perfect and I'm still not satisfied. Can anyone recommend a better method or a different system for Romanization? I would really appreciate any help! Thank you so much!
