Where does the generational difference in cars come from in Korea?

On the streets of Korea, you often see the latest luxury vehicles, such as Mercedes-Benz cars. This is a phenomenon that is commonly observed in other developed countries as well, so it’s not particularly strange. However, it feels unusual that you can hardly see old vehicles in Korea. Interestingly, while old small trucks are easily spotted, new small trucks are rarely seen. Could this difference be attributed to Korea's automotive culture or policies? Even after living in Korea for 15 years, this aspect still piques my curiosity. I wonder where the new trucks and old cars are in Korea and what the reasons are.
