Do you also mainly get news about the United States through Korean news media? Lately, as my interest in economics and politics has grown, I find myself watching Korean news more often. Korean news feels more objective to me as it reports U.S. news from a third-party perspective. Especially when I'm at a cafe in Gangnam or Hongdae, I sometimes compare U.S. news I've seen through Korean media with friends. American news sometimes feels too commercialized, but Korean media seems relatively less so. For example, even in health-related information, American experts often seem to have a strong intention to sell something. What experiences have you had? Do you think getting news about the United States through Korean news is a better way? I would like to hear your opinions.
