Has anyone had dating experiences as a gay foreigner in Korea?

I am curious about the experiences of foreigners dating or meeting gay individuals in Korea. I live in Japan, but I have visited Korea several times. I have been to a gay club in Itaewon before, but I didn't have a particularly memorable experience at that time. I tried to meet people through apps, but I remember that I hardly received any replies. Looking at Instagram, it seems that popular gay individuals in Korea follow each other a lot, making it appear easy to identify gay people, but I wonder what it's really like. I want to know about gay culture in Korea, especially regarding fashion, clubs, and dating. I am planning to visit Korea again this coming summer, and I would like to dive deeper into this scene then. I would appreciate your experiences or advice.
